Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the name used by her parents. Lennox went to Lennox's Royal Academy of Music, London in the 1970s. She studied the harpsichord and the flautist piano for three years. She survived on a student stipend and did part-time jobs to supplement her budget. Lennox believed that her abilities were inferior to those of her Royal Academy classmates. So she began thinking about other routes she could choose. Lennox played the flute in the 1976 group called Dragons Playground. But she quit shortly before New Faces, the I.T.V. talent competition. Between 1977 and 1980 she was vocalist for The Tourists. A British pop band from the UK. They met Dave Stewart, with whom formed the pop-duo Eurythmics. Then, Lennox started working for her debut album as a solo artist Diva which was released in 1992. The album received a lot of praise both by critics as well as the general public. Nostalgia Lennoxs Sixth Solo Album was Released on October 31, 2014. The C.D. Lennox has selected her top jazz, blues and soul songs. Lepidoptera features four keyboard tracks. The E.P. First album of hers, Now I Letting You Go... was released as the perfect accompaniment to her work of artwork in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. Annie Lennox is a Scottish artist and singer born on December 25, 1954. The Tourists gained some minor recognition for her and Dave Stewart's work during the 1970s. They would go on, in the 1980s, to become the popular duo Eurythmics.
